October Box Office Collection
October Movie Fifth Day Box Office Collection Total Worldwide Business Income Report : Shoojit Sircar’s latest Bollywood film ‘October’ witnessed steady theatre occupancy on 5th day of its release. The Hindi movie, which features Banita Sandhu, Gitanjali Rao and Varun Dhawan in major roles, reportedly earned Rs 5.04 crore income on 1st day of its release. The Indian film is expected to earn up to Rs 2 crore on day 5 at Bollywood Box Office.
Releasing worldwide on 2308 screens, the romantic celluloid received a good response from people in central part of India. As Varun has a huge fan following in north Indian states, his latest Hindi film gained positive feedback from the audiences. Receiving mixed reviews from the critics, the Bollywood movie exhibited decent performance at India’s box office. In overseas, the Hindi film witnessed box office clashes with the latest Hollywood movies.
Though Varun has been a consistent performer in his all films, his performance in ‘October’ movie doesn’t seem to have impressed Indian audience to a greater extent. His previous celluloid ‘Judwaa 2’ was the most successful movie of his career. Varun had played double roles in that movie which also starred Taaspee Pannu and Jacqueline Fernandez in the main roles. The multi-starrer comedy film had earned Rs 227.74 crore total worldwide collection in one month.
Varun’s another film ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ too was one of the highest grossing films of year 2017. Directed by well-known Indian filmmaker Shashank Khaitan, the Hindi offering had collected an amount of Rs 12.08 crore on fourth day of release. Varun’s latest movie ‘October’ has exhibited comparatively poor performance at India’s box office on opening day. The multi-starrer Hindi film is expected to see steadiness in its business in the week days. Latest box office numbers are awaited.
