Secret Superstar 2nd Day Box Office Collection in Hong Kong
Aamir Khan starrer Bollywood movie ‘Secret Superstar’ was released in Hong Kong on 30th March this year. The Indian film showcased excellent performance at the box office and earned an income of HK$ 238,215 on 2nd day of release. Featuring Zaira Wasim in the lead role, the drama movie made a total collection of HK$ 496,349 in two days. The Bollywood movie recorded a total business of Rs 0.41 crore at Hong Kong Box Office in two days.
Directed by Indian filmmaker Advait Chandan, the Indian film registered a business of HK$ 258,134 on first day of release in Hong Kong. Hindi version of the film was released in India on 19th October 2017. The Bollywood movie made a collection of Rs 4.8 crore on 1st day of its release in India. The Indian film was released in China on 19th January 2018. On first day, the Bollywood movie made a collection of Rs 43.35 crore at China Box Office and became the highest opening day grossing Indian film in China.
Releasing on more than 3000 screens in India, ‘Secret Superstar’ faced box office clash with Ajay Devgn starrer comedy movie ‘Golmaal Returns’. After earning Rs 4.80 crore income on opening day, the Bollywood film witnessed huge growth in theatre occupancy on weekend days and collected a total income of Rs 31.10 crore at Bollywood Box Office in the first weekend. The Indian drama film received steady response from the audiences on week days and bagged a total collection of Rs 41.39 crore at India’s box office in 1st weekend.
Aamir Khan’s movie earned Rs 63.40 crore lifetime box office collection in India. After earning Rs 43.35 crore income on first day of release in China, the Chinese version of ‘Secret Superstar’ movie witnessed huge growth in the theatre occupancy on weekend days and made a total collection of Rs 174.10 crore at China Box Office in first weekend. In first week, the Bollywood film collected a total income of Rs 293.18 crore in China. Receiving huge response from Chinese audiences, the Indian movie grossed Rs 509 crore lifetime collection at China Box Office.
